Honey Glazed Chicken

Chicken cooked in a flavourful sauce with honey.

Ingredients:
•Boneless chicken,cut into 1 inch pieces 400 grams
•Oil 3 tablespoons + to deep fry
•Cornflour/ corn starch 1 1/2 tablespoons
•Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
•MSG 1/4 teaspoon
•White pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
•Salt to taste
•Chicken stock 1 1/2 cups
•Garlic,finely chopped 2-3 cloves
•Red chilli flakes 1 tablespoon
•Honey 4 tablespoons
•Roasted sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
•Spring onion greens,chopped 2 stalks

Method:
Heat sufficient oil in a wok and deep-fry the chicken pieces on high heat for half a minute. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside. Mix together the cornflour, soy sauce, MSG, white pepper powder and salt with chicken stock.
Heat three tablespoons of oil in a wok or a pan, add the garlic and red chilli flakes and stir-fry briefly. Stir in the sauce and spice mixture. Cook for a minute or until the sauce starts to thicken, stirring continuously. Add the fried chicken and honey and cook for a minute, stirring continuously.
Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds and serve hot, garnished with the spring onion greens.
