Green summer cooler

Ingredients:
4 tablespoons creme de menthe
crushed ice
1.2 litres (2 pints) sparkling mineral water
mint sprigs, to garnish

Method:
Put a teaspoonful of the creme de menthe in the bottom of four tall glasses. Add a little crushed ice, top up with sparkling mineral water and serve immediately garnished with mint sprigs.

You can use a special gadget which crushes ice in a lidded container or put ice cubes in a strong polythene bag and smash them with a wooden mallet.
