Cheesy Aloo Tandoori

Cheesy Aloo Tandoori -

Potato slices sauteed with masala powders, layered with cheese and baked.

Ingredients:

Potatoes 3 medium
Cheese,grated 200 grams
Oil 6 tablespoons
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
Amchur powder 1 teaspoon
Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste

Method:

Preheat oven at 160°C. Heat 3 tbsps oil in a non stick pan.
Thinly slice 2 potatoes and add to the pan. Add ½ tsp red chili powder, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp dried mango powder, ¼ tsp chaat masala and mix.
When potatoes are lightly browned, transfer into an aluminum tray and spread evenly. Spread the cheese evenly over the potatoes.
Heat 3 tbsps oil in the same pan. Thinly slice remaining potato and add to the pan. Add remaining red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dried mango powder and chaat masala and cook. Add salt and mix well
When the potatoes turn golden, transfer them into the aluminum tray over the cheese layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes. Serve hot.
