Chicken & Pork Adobo -
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb pork belly, cut into serving sizes1 lb chicken, cut into serving sizes
1 whole garlic, pounded
5 pcs bay leaves
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp cooking oil
DIRECTIONS:
In a wok, marinate chicken & pork belly in soy sauce, bay leaves & garlic for at least 1 hour.Turn on the stove. Add water and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add vinegar and simmer for 10 minutes.
Turn off the stove and remove marinade (sauce) leaving the meat, garlic & bay leaves in the wok.
Turn on the stove to medium heat, add cooking oil and stir fry the meat in the wok for 5-10 minutes.
Put-in the sauce back to the wok. (optional - If you want it with sauce.) Simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve with hot rice. Enjoy!
