Pork Adobo

Pork Adobo -

INGREDIENTS:

2 lbs pork belly
5 cloves of garlic pounded
5 pcs bay leaves
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:

Marinate pork belly, soy sauce, bay leaves & garlic for at least 1 hour in a pan or wok.
Turn on the stove.
Add water and simmer for 30-45 minutes.
Add vinegar and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Turn off the stove and remove marinade (sauce) leaving the meat, garlic & bay leaves in the wok.
Turn on the stove to medium heat, add cooking oil and stir fry the meat in the wok for 5-10 minutes.
Serve with hot rice. Enjoy!
