Pork Loin with Chili Sauce (Kaw Moo Yang)

Pork Loin with Chili Sauce (Kaw Moo Yang) -

Marinating well in advance will make the pork loin moist and deeply flavorful.

Ingredients:

4 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 teaspoons whole black peppercorns
2 tablespoons Chinese oyster flavored sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/2 pounds boneless pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
Thai Sweet Red Chili Sauce

Directions:

PLACE garlic, cilantro and peppercorns in blender or use mortar and pestle. Pulse or grind into a thick paste. Spoon into large bowl. Add oyster flavored sauce and soy sauce; mix well. Add pork; turn to coat well.
REFRIGERATE 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
BROIL or grill over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes per side or until pork is desired doneness. Serve pork with Chili Sauce.
